Great news for all our users! Today we published SAT SMART Driver v0.10 that is compatible with OS X 10.10+ (Yosemite, El Capitan and newer). You can download it here. Enjoy!

SAT SMART Driver is an OS X kernel driver for diagnostic support of external USB and FireWire drives. It extends the standard OS X functionality by providing access to external drive health diagnostic (S.M.A.R.T.) functionality. The interface to S.M.A.R.T. is the same as with ATA family driver, so many existing applications should work. The driver requires a SAT (SCSI ATA Translation) capable external drive enclosure. Important note #1:
Use v0.10 only if v0.8 is incompatible with your external drive(s), otherwise we recommend to stay with v0.8.

Important note #2:
If you want to upgrade your driver to v0.10 – you must uninstall previous version first. Installation of the new version “above” (without uninstallation) previous driver version may result in non-working driver.
